I was the engineer on this job in conjunction with Tim Lenihan & Co. Consulting engineers. Tim designed the structures and I was his eyes on the ground. I was involved in the setting out of the foundations and the blockwork, etc. I would on-site most weeks during the course of construction to ensure the structural works were carried out to satisfaction. The clients were great to work with, and the tradesmen on-site were fantastic. This was a self build project and it was a great to be involved from the get go.
